Employment Program

The school adapted a program in August, 2001 which assist visually impaired students transition from school to employment. The program instructs students in job skills, resume' writing, employment interviews, financial management, and professional development. The transition teacher collaborates with employers and vocational rehabilitation counselors in placing students in all facets of employment ranging from food service, customer service, business administration, factory, and vending operations.
